Eli Brand joined the WSOC team in April of 2024 as a reporter. Eli is a North Carolina native and was born in Charlotte. He grew up in Shelby where he graduated from Crest High School, before attending the University of South Carolina, where he majored in broadcast journalism. Before joining the WSOC team, Eli reported and anchored at both WCIV and WTAT, the ABC and FOX affiliates in Charleston, South Carolina.
